Oh but if we had a President that knew how to please God and had no fear of man and their claims of a false freedom. The Bible has the answer to every situation. We have only to access it as the President of Liberia did earlier this month. I only which I had of seen this article when it was written so that I could have stood with this nation in fasting and praying. My prayers have been for Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone ever since the beginning of this epidemic.
Lance Wallnau posted, "America has lost its fear of God. When you lose your fear of God ANOTHER FEAR comes to take its place! Remember that." Just this week a young college student claimed to be ill from Ebola in San Diego and it sent up such a fear in people. I received phone calls and emails from my grandson's school saying because of the possibility of Ebola being found at Southwestern College they are asking the parents to please keep their child at home if they have flu-like symptoms. Do not allow Satan to bring fear in you. The only thing you should fear is God. Did Jesus not give us power to trample upon serpents and scorpions? So to all this fear and panic, all I have to say is, "Stay calm and trust in the Lord." http://www.news24.com/Africa/News/Pray-to-halt-Ebola-Liberian-president-urges-20140806

This is a repost of an article I posted on FB on September 11th. Okay. TIME FOR REAL TALK. We are coming up next month on the dark days. The 3 days of the dead in which one is called Halloween. Christians need to start talking to their spirit now rebuking and denouncing being part of the dark. Remember we are the children of the light and must cause the darkness to flee. Refuse to give it power anymore. No More Compromises you guys! If you dress up as an angel you are compromising. If you give your children candy you are compromising. Hot or cold? Those are the only choices God accepts. There is no in between in Christ. Please, stop allowing the devil to deceive you and your love ones. Stop passing your curses down to your future generations. Stop implanting the spirit of fear into your children. They will spend most of their lives battling that demon without your help. This is not cute. This is condemning them to death. Make the decision now that you will not participate in Halloween/Harvest Festival at all this year. And if you feel the pull to do it because you think it is fun, then please message me so that I can pray for God to birth some revelation and truth in you. Always look at the root. If the root is bad then so is the fruit. This is not being too religious, this is being a true Christian. A true follower of Christ. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies www.fearnotministries.com In today's world it's very easy to say that you are a Christian and bear no fruit. So what is fruit? Fruit is the proof of your faith. Faith doesn't allow you to be inactive in your belief. To be inactive is to be just a flicker of light in the world when we are all called to be a bright flame.
There is a scripture that says, "We walk by faith and not by sight". (2 Corinthians 5:7) This means that we trust God that what we are actually looking at is not the truth. This means telling your mind "yes" when rationality says, "no". I know, this is very hard to do, but it is an obtainable goal. Let me show you an example. One day, about 4 years ago, on the way to work as I was praying I began to make a request to God. There were a few dents in my car and I wanted them gone. It wasn't number one on my list of things to do, in fact the way the car kept getting these little dents... was strange in itself. At the time I had no funds to pay for the body work so I decided to have a conversation with God about it. It went something like this: "I'm so thankful Lord for the blessing of this car. You know that I am not materialistic. I know that this car is your blessing to help me to reach the places I need to go to , but I don't understand why it keep getting these dents. What I do know is that I wish they were gone but it's not a priority. However, if you feel like it, could you help me out with this." Then I began to pray about other things and thanking God for the small things He had done in my life recently. As I pull into the parking lot a young man caught my attention. When I parked he approached the car and waited for me to get out. I remember feeling so peaceful that morning and then here comes this guy. He says he can pull some of my dents out for around $40 dollars. I didn't have $40 let alone $5 at the time so you know that was out of the question. I explained this to him and he said that if I could get $20 he would still fix the dents. You know I couldn't pass that up so I went and borrowed it from my boss which is also a Christian. I went outside and unlocked the car after giving him the money. Then I went back to work leaving him to do what he said. In my heart I knew that God had sent this man and so I gave him complete trust. Not too many people would have done that if they were judging by his clothes which spoke of him being in the midst of his own personal struggles. It was by faith that I was able to trust this man that I had never seen before. It was my faith that told me to go to work while he completed his task. I could not see my car from the office but it was faith that told me that I did not need to see him. My boss on the other hand was in a state of panic because I left this man with my car. It was easy for her to imagine this man stealing parts from under my hood or leaving without doing the job because he had already been paid. She was unable to get any work done because she insisted on going back and forth to the car to check on what he was doing. Nothing I said could change what she was seeing. Then the guy turned and walked down the street with my hood up against the side of the building! My boss came running to me even more panicked saying the guy had left. When it didn't stir me she could not understand how I could sit there with so much peace. This is why I had peace. My faith that God had sent this man to me. I saw the job complete. I saw the man working hard on my car to do what he had told me he would do. I saw him through my faith. I even saw him going to the store to buy himself a drink. So I asked my boss if she really believe everything that the Bible says and she told me yes. I then asked her if she remembered the scripture "we walk by faith and not by sight". She again said yes. I told her that we cannot just proclaim scripture, say we believe it and then refuse to walk in it. She was looking at evil while I was looking at good. Ten minutes later the guy returned with a soda pop and completed the job and guess what? He blessed me as he was leaving. Yes it takes an inner strength to be able to trust in what doesn't look right in the natural, but that's what faith is all about. Your faith without works is dead. Many times we want to do things for ourselves because we know that the only way to ensure that things get done is to do it ourself. Well guess what? You just allowed the enemy to steal a portion of your faith and every time we remove our trust in God and trust ourselves we lose a little bit more of our faith. This can begin to add up to the point where it's all you and there is no room for God to produce anything in your life. Romans 14:22 - 23 says, "Hast thou faith? Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." So if you are looking to yourself before looking towards God you sin before God. Where my boss trusted only her eyes, my eyes were on the Lord and my faith. Faith without works is dead guys, but there is hope. Begin to put your faith into action. That bill that is due that you don't have the funds to pay, stop trying to borrow from everyone to pay it. Instead let's have faith and allow God to move on our behalf. Faith without works is dead indeed. If you believe what the Bible says walk in faith fully. The bible says in Mark 11:22, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God." So let's have faith that produces fruit. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies www.fearnotministries.com |
