The Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." So let's talk about these escapes routes. The Word says, "will with the temptation also make a way to escape" Many of you have written me letters of concern that you have not been able to escape temptation and what I want you to do is to really meditate on these words. "will with the temptation also make a way to escape" I'll share what I see with you. I too have had many battles with temptation that I lost over and over again until I began to use the tools that our Father gave us all. TEMPTATION AND YOUR ESCAPE ROUTE GOES HAND IN HAND. Here is the problem most of us have. We see temptation all the time but we forget to look for the escape that has always been there. So what does the escape route look like? The escape route comes in many forms but none will help you without you changing the way you see yourself fighting temptation. Let's explore some of the ways we should see the escape route. 1) Physically change your direction when you see temptation coming. If you are headed to a place where you know temptation lays in wait for you, don't go. Change your direction immediately. 2) Stay in a position of alertness. Many times temptation will appear in seasons. Every year, around the same time, here it comes. Start paying attention to your seasons and when this temptation shows up. 3) Pay attention to your surroundings. Temptation usually has a particular setting. When everything has been placed in a certain position the enemy will then say, "Now, temptation - come." When you see things starting to look like the setup, instead of walking right into it, began to create your own setup. It's really not that hard to do if you begin to shift your mind, you can send out your angels to the forefront to defeat the temptation before you even walk into the trap. 4) Our mouth is also our escape. There are so many ways that you can use your mouth to escape temptation. You can pray to God, make declarations, denounce the temptation, or you can use your spirit language. My spirit language has helped me escape numerous times until I had the strength to say "NO." And yes say "NO." It doesn't always provide your escape but it opens the door for you to engage your other weapons and we have so many in our arsenal. 5) The Word of God. This is one of your most powerful weapon against temptation. Temptation loves us Christians so it can be very aggressive in it's attack. Even our Lord and Savior Jesus had to fight temptation and one of His escapes was the Word of God. Matthew 4:4, "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Notice how the word "Man" is capitalized? It's because when you use the Word as your weapon, you (Man) become empowered to defeat temptation just as Jesus was empowered by the Word of God. Let's stop thinking only about the temptation and how it has defeated us. Use your escape routes and defeat it. If you do, you will come out victoriously! Remember: Temptation = Escape when you begin to see it as one. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (www.fearnotministries.com)

Psalm 5:3, " My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up." More than ever there is a call for direction in the body of Christ. So many have taking an unnoticed step off the path which will eventually lead them in the wrong direction. While so many others have been stuck in a place called RUT. You want more but you don't know how to obtain it. You are thirsty for more of God, but RUT is keeping you in a sort of locked down position. I can hear you thinking, "It's not suppose to be like this. What should I do?" I too have had similar thoughts at one time or another in my walk. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." We must not move in the direction of our own thoughts. This is a time to seek direction from God. There are so many paths open to you, but which path is actually yours? To chose the wrong path could mean death so it's crucial that you don't make a mistake during this important time in your life. So how do we know which direction is the right direction? We PRAY, we FAST and we ASK GOD for direction. He has sent you His Holy Spirit to give you the guidance that you need. Many will seek guidance from a Prophet, but know this, there are many different Prophets and not all are of God. Learn to seek God for yourself. Only God can give you the direction that you seek. A Prophet will proclaim the things to come but true direction comes from Holy Spirit. The Bible speaks of Prophets being sent from God but the Bible also never tells us to go find a Prophet and he will tell you what to do. Don't get me wrong now Prophets are very important to the kingdom but because of what Jesus did for us (His grand sacrifice) we all have total access to the Father. This is a time to get really personal with the Father. The closer you draw the more you will hear His directions. The more you hear, the less likely you'll go in the wrong direction. So begin to PRAY, to FAST and to ASK GOD to send His Holy Spirit to direct your steps. Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Be blessed!
