Years back the Lord showed me a place that I would be entering into in the future. Now when He showed me this place I can remember my heart gripping in fear and a desire to run from it so terrifying the vision was. I've recently seen this vision again and the fear was gone. That's how our Father works. He prepares you for what is to come and once you are prepared, all fear will leave. I want to encourage you today if you are still bound in fear. Know that God is preparing you for your future. a future that contains no fear, but He has to show you it now so that He can deal with it now as part of your preparation. Hold on to your faith because I promise you, it is the one major thing that is going to see you through to the other side of that fear. Pay attention to what the Father is saying in these days. He is speaking words of strength to your spirit. Continue to meditate on His Scriptures telling you to 'fear not' and to be not afraid'. He wrote those words for you for this time. They are alive and will strengthen your spirit even as you are reading and speaking them. Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." God has only done a small percentage of what He is planning to do in you in this season of preparation. Be encourage and as always be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies

A few years back I was fighting several personal battles. It seemed like I was being bombarded by the enemy. But battle I did. As in the natural, when we battle for too long we become battle weary. I was tired of battling but it got to the point where I did not know how to come off the battlefield. It began to become a burden to me. I felt drained all the time. Couldn't sleep because I was waging war in my sleep. I was not just fighting personal battles, I was battling for others as well and I had not learned how to come off of the battlefield. Up until this point I had only fought 1 or 2 battles at a time. But in order to become what God has called you to be takes training and training goes from the easy to the extreme. This still did not tell me how to come out of the battle or that I needed to come off the battlefield. Our Father, God always knows what we need and so He sent me to someone that could help me. Her name was Pastor Rita Miles and the first thing out of her mouth when she spoke to me was, "Battlefield too long." There was other key words that she spoke to me but when God speaks to me I have to get to a place where it's just me and Him. So I went and found a quiet place and began to speak to the Lord. I told Him that I knew I had been in battle too long and that I had become battle weary. I didn't know how to come out of the battle, and that only He could help me come out. God softly spoke one word to me and my life was changed. What was that word? "Release." And with that word spoken, all tension left, all fatigue left, and I was free from the battles just like that. Now here's the thing. I was so caught up in the battle that my face was covered in spiritual sweat and blood and I could no longer see. I could no longer see that the enemy had been defeated. I could no longer see that the battlefield was empty and only I stood, swinging away at invisible foes. You must see when you have won the victory and stop battling. There is always a time when we must come off the battlefield. Do not let the enemy deceive you into thinking that you still have to fight after the battle has already been won. Sometimes also the enemy must see that he has been defeated. If you are still swinging and he's beaten, even he won't know that the fight is over and it's time for him to give up. As intercessors we have to learn how to sometimes come off of the battleground. As Christians we have to know when to stop fighting. When you have won, the battle is over and sometimes it just takes you walking it off to cool down before you can see that all your foes have been vanquished and that you can now begin to walk in the victory. This does not mean that there will not be other battles, but you must always know when the battle you have been fighting is won and come off of the battlefield. To God be the GLORY! Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) In the Old Testament bondage was more of a physical thing. You do evil against God then He would let your enemies capture you, imprison you, your family, and generations to come in your bloodline and this caused man to have a fear of the Lord. But there is a bondage that is far worse that physical imprisonment. Spiritual Bondage is more harmful than physical bondage because you sometimes cannot always see it and know that you are in bondage. We can see the results but not know, what, why or who is messing with our head. Did you ever wonder why God tells Isaiah to not have fear so many times? God was trying to strengthen Isaiah. The opposite of fear is boldness, strength. God was telling him that He would give Isaiah these things. He told him to not worry, He would strengthen him. Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Fear can cause a person to sin: Exodus 20:20, "And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”" Fear can create stumbling blocks. Fear can cause you to lie. We always hear people saying that Rahab lied to justify their telling a lie, but God never condoned her lie. He never did tell her good job lying. Lying actually removed God from that situation because she trusted in herself more than God. Remember now, Rahab did not know God. She only knew fear because she had been paying attention to how the children of God have been defeating everyone. Joshua 2:4-6, "Then the woman took the two men and hid them. So she said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from. 5 And it happened as the gate was being shut, when it was dark, that the men went out. Where the men went I do not know; pursue them quickly, for you may overtake them.” 6 (But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order on the roof.)" God rewarded her by the words spoken to her by the 2 children of Israel. Not by her lie. Fear will turn you into a liar. Fear can cause you to run away. When David entered into battle with any nation, the nation would flee from the power of God that David and his men moved under. 1 Chronicles 19:14, "So Joab and the people who were with him drew near for the battle against the Syrians, and they fled before him." To run away means that you are afraid and it also means that you have already been beaten. Fear will keep you out of the battle. We all know the story of David and Goliath. This story is even circulated around non Christians as a story of strength. 1 Samuel 17:4-11, "And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. He had a bronze helmet on his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of bronze. And he had bronze armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his shoulders. Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels; and a shield-bearer went before him. Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.” And the Philistine said, “I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.” When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid." Fear will keep you from engaging the enemy. But God says we have nothing to fear. So today I pray Deuteronomy 28:7 for you. “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. I plead Joshua 10:8, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.” Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies I want to show you something today. Last Sunday my Pastor's message was on the same scriptures that God had given to me Friday. I love it when that happens because it is just confirmation that a person is hearing the truth. Same message different wording. He spoke on Saul and this was the revelation God gave him: Only God can take your enemy and turn him into your brother. Acts 9:21-22 "Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?” But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ." This is why we cannot judge others. We don't know what God is doing or is planning to do with this precious life. We can't understand what kind of preparation someone is going through to get to his destination. So as we are being prepared, be mindful of how others are also being prepared. No one shares the exact same journey. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 says, "Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation," I know I've been changed and every person will have that same opportunity eventually. This is the desire of the Father and no man should stand in His way. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies Fear Not Ministries Be careful of how you label your blessings. God is so much higher than the mind of man. What do most people think of when they hear the words, “God is about to bless you”? At least eighty five percent of you instantly thought of money, but God is so much more than that. Anyone can bless you with money but when God blesses you it will not be in a way that you can measure. How do you measure all your needs being met? How do you measure God healing you or someone close to you? Keeping your focus on money and trying to attach God to it is not the answer that I am seeking. I want the blessing that contains substance. I want God’s spiritual blessing. I can survive without money but I cannot live without Holy Spirit being active in my life. God has shown me such miraculous things that when I shared them with others, they just could not imagine it. And He did these things just for me! He blessed me! I want you to exercise taking the labels off of your blessings. Allow God to decide what you need. If you really want to know what being blessed feels like, stop choosing what you thank you need and allow God to make the choice for you. Then you will be opening the door for some real supernatural blessings. Dear heavenly Father, I ask that you bless your people with supernatural blessings. Lord your Word says you will pour out a blessing that we will not be able to contain. We are ready God. We are ready for you to pour out. We stand here with open arms awaiting you. And Lord we are expecting blessings that we cannot measure in the natural. Only the supernatural will do for Your people. We thank You God and we wait on You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Be blessed! C. D. Today's word is Sensuality. One of the KJV dictionary definition for the word sensuality is: In theology, carnal; pertaining to the flesh or body, in opposition to the spirit; not spiritual or holy; evil When we exalt our own selves we are moving in a spirit of sensuality. This can happen from 2 different causes. 1. Low self-esteem - can make you want to hide or it can make you want to grab attention. 2. A sense of self-worth - wanting to lift yourself above others. Whichever the reason is, it is wrong in the eyes of the Lord. But this is not to condemn. It is never our place to condemn. Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Usually this has happened from the person trying to cover up hurts of the past. The have agreed with the lies of the enemy and this is the manifestation of their reaction to those lies. So how can we help our Christian brothers and sisters that have fallen into this sin? Sometimes the only method of deliverance that work is PRAYER. We must pray for those that are consumed by fire. It may be their only hope. Jude 1:22-23 Amplified Bible 22 And refute [so as to] convict some who dispute with you, and on some have mercy who waver and doubt. 23 [Strive to] save others, snatching [them] out of [the] fire; on others take pity [but] with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality. So if you have a brother or sister in Christ that is consumed in this sin, it's time to take your mouth off of them and begin to pray for them earnestly. Pray for every lie the enemy has told them to be revealed to them. Pray that they seek the strength of God in their weakness. Pray that they are delivered from the spirit of pride. Pray for God to heal the hurt in their heart. Pray for their deliverance from sensuality. Pray that they feel the true love of God as it covers their pain. Pray against every foul word spoken against them (your words included). Pray that God grants them a heart to repent. Pray for their wholeness through Christ. And pray that God will grant you grace and a compassionate heart to love them regardless. Please do not take this call to prayer lightly. Their lives are depending on your obedience to this word. Be blessed. Evangelist Cheryl Davies Tonight I am thanking God for a changed mind and a changed heart. Because of all the things that happened to me when I was a young adult, I use to declare that no one would ever take anything away from anymore. Now I give all I got freely. Anything I have, if you need it, it's yours. You see I gave up possession for freedom. That surrender freed me from the emotional strategy of the enemy. I now lift the other cheek and I do it freely with no grudges or hatred. It was a hard lesson to learn, but when you truly love God, then you want to love others just as hard. You're not selfish, but instead you are giving. Giving of everything that you formerly claimed possession of because I realized that I did not possess those things but they instead possessed me. Without God, I would have never seen this reality. Possession will lead you into BONDAGE. So if you really want to be free, my big Brother told us exactly how to do it. Mark 8:34 tells us that, "Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me]." I've given everything I own to the Lord and it keeps me from claiming possession of anything. God has more than I will ever need so I never worry about a lack. All my needs are met. I pray you will take a walk with my Brother and I, boost your faith, kill your doubt, have a change heart, and diminish your fleshly desires by releasing everything that you have claimed as yours to God for His use not only in words, but in deed. That is the true test. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies |
