Dry Bones

Yesterday I had a thought that rocked my world. 

When I was younger I use to feel earthquakes that were sometimes not even in my own country. I would be busy working or talking to someone and my spirit would begin to shake. My thoughts would say, "That's an earthquake." Then later that day or the next I would hear on the news about an earthquake in Indonesia or some other far away place. Or I would dream about an earthquake and wake up in the morning know that there had been an earthquake or that there would be one that day.

Now at this time I was very fearful of earthquakes. As a child I loved them and as an adult I hated them. 

This was my thought, "I can't feel earthquakes anymore." 

So I had to talk to my Father about why this was. 

He told me that I still have that ability but I just don't access it anymore. The gift was wrapped up in bondage because of my fear. Since I had developed a fear of earthquakes after we had a couple of very big ones in California, that fear has blocked my gift. 

I never even noticed that I had lost something. My bones had dried up without me realizing it. To not use your gifts is death. 

So where do I go from here?
How do I breathe life back into these dry bones?
How do I breathe life back into my gift?

Ezekiel 37:4
"Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!"

I first rely on my faith. Faith that God can deliver me from this too. Faith that I will never feel that clinching of my heart again at the mention of the word earthquake. I am speaking out against that fear! I am praying for God to remove this fear that has hampered my gifting. I am renouncing this fear. I am speaking to my dry bones. I will not be held captive by this fear 1 day more. It has got to go!!!

Remember how Jezebel tried to kill all the Prophets of God and Obadiah hid 100 Prophets in 2 caves and cared for them. This is what the enemy does when he wraps your gifts in fear. He tries to kill them.

1 Kings 18:4
"For so it was, while Jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord, that Obadiah had taken one hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty to a cave, and had fed them with bread and water.)"

You have to know that the devil uses fear to keep us from operating in the gifts that God has placed in us. He wants to kill your gifts so that you will never be able to use them for God's glory. Do not allow the enemy to hold your gifts hostage through fear. 

Right now in the name of Jesus we come against any fear that has kept God's people from operating in their gifting. Fear- you must go right now in the name of Jesus! We rebuke you and cast you out and we deny you any access to God's people. 
Go now in Jesus' name!
We loose all gifts that have been held in bondage by the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. Father, God You said that whatsoever we loose in heaven is loosed on earth. We loose these giftings right now in the name of Jesus'. We speak complete access and knowledge of the gifts and we declare this day that God's people will begin to operate in their giftings to edify the body of Christ. Spirit of prophesy come forth right now in the name of Jesus. We are calling all of God's Prophets to come from out of the caves right now in Jesus' name. Come from out of the caves and prophesy to the dry bones. Speak life into the dry bones in Jesus' name.
