I believe the first step in Spiritual Warfare is knowing what it means to war. This is a lesson in terminology written by Prophetess DeBrah Felder .
You know the Word says to study and show yourself approved. (2 Timothy 2:15) So here is something you definitely need to study before entering into warfare. RENOUNCE: to forsake, forgo, forswear, leave, quit, resign, abdicate, disclaim, reject, disavow, deny, to give up voluntarily: as in to renounce a worldly pleasure.to give up by formal declaration, to renounce a claim, to disown. DENOUNCE: to condemn or censure openly or publicly: to denounce a politician as morally corrupt, to make a formal accusation against, as to the police or in a court, to give formal notice of the termination or denial of (a treaty, pact, agreement, or the like). Archaic: to announce or proclaim, especially as something evil or calamitous. REBUKE: a sharp rejection, disapproval; reproof; reprimand.to beat back, scolding, to hack down, to not allow accusation of said action. DECLARE: to affirm, assert, protest imply making something known emphatically, openly, or formally. To declare is to make known, sometimes in the face of actual or potential contradiction: to declare someone the winner of a contest. To affirm is to make a statement based on one's reputation for knowledge or veracity, or so related to a generally recognized truth that denial is not likely: to affirm the necessity of high standards. To assert is to state boldly, usually without other proof than personal authority or conviction: to assert that the climate is changing. To protest is to affirm publicly, as if in the face of doubt: to protest that a newspaper account is misleading, disclose, to publish, to make known or state clearly, especially in explicit or formal terms: to declare one's position in a courtroom, to announce officially; proclaim: to declare a state of emergency; to declare a winner, to state emphatically: He declared that the allegation was a lie, to invoke something to manifest; reveal; show: Her attendance at the rally declared her political allegiance, to make due statement of, especially goods for duty or income for taxation. DECREE: to make formal and authoritative order, especially one having the force of law: a presidential decree, to make int a law. a judicial decision or order; to order, adjudge, or ordain by decree. BIND: to forbid, to disallow, to fasten or secure with a band or bond, to encircle with a band or ligature, to swathe or bandage, to bind up one's wound (bind the word of God to hurt, wounds, etc.) to fasten around; fix in place by girding: Put a spiritual hand-cuffs on the devil), bound his hands behind him, to tie up (anything, as sheaves of grain), to place under certain constraints; govern, to place (someone or something) under obligation; to impose legal obligations or duties upon (a person or party to an agreement), "to tie up with bonds or words" (literally and figuratively), also "to make captive. LOOSE: to release from, to free up or released from fastening or attachment: a loose end, to free from anything that binds or restrains; unfettered, to unbind something that has been bound together; to release, to break out of confinement, cuts loose, to release from domination or control, to unbound, untie, unrestricted, unconfined, to liberate, to dissolute, to licentious, to loosen, to unbind, to liberate.
