A Word of Encouragement in the Midst of Sorrow: Job 41:22, "In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him." I want to encourage those that are grieving today. God says that there is still strength in your neck. So continue to hold your head up for He will turn your sorrow to joy. I heard the Lord say that this is a Season of Praying and Waiting. Luke 1:13 says, "But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard;" Today know in your heart that your prayer is heard. So hold your head up! Through pain, sorrow, and disappointments, hold your head up. There is strength in you neck and your prayers have been heard. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies

Continuing today with the Book of Daniel we witness Daniel continually defeating all the distractions that tried to remove his focus off of God. While the Book of Daniel is filled with distractions I want to bring the key distractions to your attention. · Daniel had to be enduring jealously from some of the children of Judah. (This is not written in the Word but I can imagine this scenario.) There is always someone that becomes jealous of another receiving favor. I can see all the gossiping going on behind David’s by his own people. “He thinks he’s better than us. Won’t eat the King’s food. Who does he think he is?” Can you see that? · Daniel had enemies that were scheming behind his back that were not of the tribe of Judah. (Daniel 6:7) “All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.” · Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den. Daniel 6:10-14, " Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. 11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. 12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. 13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day. 14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.” My God! I see nothing but distractions. But Daniel kept his eyes on God. He refused to look at everything that was going on around him. Once again he refused to compromise! Oh that we would have a spirit like Daniel. Tossed into the lion’s den and still held his focus. No screaming for help from Daniel. He kept his focus and trusted God to save him. Today if you are in the midst of the lion’s den, stay focus and keep all your trust in God, for as He did with Daniel, so shall He do for you. Keep your eyes on God! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) (www.fearnotministries.com) ""Shalom" is comprised of four Hebrew letters: "Sheen", "Lamed", "Vav" and "Mem". The letter "Sheen", represented as teeth, illustrates destruction. "Lamed" portrays a staff and illustrates authority. "Vav", illustrated as a nail or a tent peg, carries the ideas of fastening, securing, or establishing. And finally, "Mem" is displayed as water, and illustrates chaos. So the Hebrew word picture for "shalom" communicates this message – "destroying the authority that establishes chaos"! Do you want "shalom" in your life? You will need to deal with the roots and causes of chaos. The one and only successful way to do that is through faith in and identity with Yeshua (Jesus) your Sar Shalom – your prince of Peace – because He has already disarmed the authorities which establish chaos and will soon destroy them completely. He said, These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." [John 16:33]" (Quoted from George Whitton, Worthy Briefs) You can find more of these great Worthy Briefs Devotionals at http://www.worthynetwork.com/sign-up Do you fight with feelings of being inadequate? The enemy within me. This is a fight within and the hardest battle to defeat. Am I living up to my full potential? Am I being obedient to God? I messed up once again. God said that he forgives me, but so He really? These are questions that we all ask ourselves at one time or another. I want you to know that this isn't you. This is words whispered at your mind. Thoughts that entered through the suggestions of the enemy because he knows that if he can make you fill guilty, he has a chance of persuading you to take that step out of alignment with God. If you beat yourself up it opens the door for him to beat you down even more. Just stop it. That's right. Stop them thoughts the minute they begin. Begin to take on the thoughts of God. Does He not say in His Word: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11) God's thoughts for us never change. He knows us better than we know ourselves so let's begin to see ourselves as God sees us. We have to stop listening to the report that does not belong to God. When those thoughts enter your mind begin to cast them out immediately. And if you begin to feel you are losing the battle in your mind, then you better go up. Use your spirit language because our spirit knows how battle even better than you. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) Now is not the time to give in! God is trying to do something in you and that's why it feels so hard. But you can't stop now! Just keep telling yourself, "I got to get there!" There is a testimony waiting to be birth and only you can carry that baby. Many are waiting on you and relying on you to overcome so they to may overcome. Tell yourself, "I won't let them down!' Now go! Complete the mission! The blessing is in your completion! 1 John 5:4, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." Be blessed and complete the mission! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) Years back the Lord showed me a place that I would be entering into in the future. Now when He showed me this place I can remember my heart gripping in fear and a desire to run from it so terrifying the vision was. I've recently seen this vision again and the fear was gone. That's how our Father works. He prepares you for what is to come and once you are prepared, all fear will leave. I want to encourage you today if you are still bound in fear. Know that God is preparing you for your future. a future that contains no fear, but He has to show you it now so that He can deal with it now as part of your preparation. Hold on to your faith because I promise you, it is the one major thing that is going to see you through to the other side of that fear. Pay attention to what the Father is saying in these days. He is speaking words of strength to your spirit. Continue to meditate on His Scriptures telling you to 'fear not' and to be not afraid'. He wrote those words for you for this time. They are alive and will strengthen your spirit even as you are reading and speaking them. Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." God has only done a small percentage of what He is planning to do in you in this season of preparation. Be encourage and as always be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies This is so important! It is one of your keys toward walking into your purpose. If they are not going where you are going they will become a distraction and can possible send you towards detours. I love to be with people that look like me, and by me I mean they also are a reflection of Jesus. What kind of reflection do you see in your friends? Evangelist Cheryl Davies Fear Not Ministries When you are struggling it doesn't necessarily mean that sin is standing on the sideline waiting to devour you. The majority of the time our struggles are the hand of God trying to teach us something or take us to new territory that has not been conquered yet. I depend on the struggle because I refuse to stay the same. Stagnated. Rutted. God can't use that! Nothing can stop my flow! Allow God to take you to and through the struggles. And when they seem too hard, keep telling yourself, "I'm going somewhere and I'm not going to be the same when I come out of this struggle. I'm going up." This is why I rejoice when it's a struggle. I'm telling God that I know He can handle anything that I can't and I'm willing to submit myself to Him to teach me how to handle it myself. Hebrews 5:14, "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." That's called "Meat Eating Maturity." No more milk for me! I've learned how to chew. Now, what about you? Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies A few years back I was fighting several personal battles. It seemed like I was being bombarded by the enemy. But battle I did. As in the natural, when we battle for too long we become battle weary. I was tired of battling but it got to the point where I did not know how to come off the battlefield. It began to become a burden to me. I felt drained all the time. Couldn't sleep because I was waging war in my sleep. I was not just fighting personal battles, I was battling for others as well and I had not learned how to come off of the battlefield. Up until this point I had only fought 1 or 2 battles at a time. But in order to become what God has called you to be takes training and training goes from the easy to the extreme. This still did not tell me how to come out of the battle or that I needed to come off the battlefield. Our Father, God always knows what we need and so He sent me to someone that could help me. Her name was Pastor Rita Miles and the first thing out of her mouth when she spoke to me was, "Battlefield too long." There was other key words that she spoke to me but when God speaks to me I have to get to a place where it's just me and Him. So I went and found a quiet place and began to speak to the Lord. I told Him that I knew I had been in battle too long and that I had become battle weary. I didn't know how to come out of the battle, and that only He could help me come out. God softly spoke one word to me and my life was changed. What was that word? "Release." And with that word spoken, all tension left, all fatigue left, and I was free from the battles just like that. Now here's the thing. I was so caught up in the battle that my face was covered in spiritual sweat and blood and I could no longer see. I could no longer see that the enemy had been defeated. I could no longer see that the battlefield was empty and only I stood, swinging away at invisible foes. You must see when you have won the victory and stop battling. There is always a time when we must come off the battlefield. Do not let the enemy deceive you into thinking that you still have to fight after the battle has already been won. Sometimes also the enemy must see that he has been defeated. If you are still swinging and he's beaten, even he won't know that the fight is over and it's time for him to give up. As intercessors we have to learn how to sometimes come off of the battleground. As Christians we have to know when to stop fighting. When you have won, the battle is over and sometimes it just takes you walking it off to cool down before you can see that all your foes have been vanquished and that you can now begin to walk in the victory. This does not mean that there will not be other battles, but you must always know when the battle you have been fighting is won and come off of the battlefield. To God be the GLORY! Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) Years ago, I would give everything that I had out to others. I would always get myself burned out, and would have to go back to God to get replenished. My pastor at that time gave me an analogy that I have never forgotten....I would get my bucket full, and then give out, and had to go back and have my bucket filled back up. Your bucket should always be under the running facet, and you give out of the overflow....Our time in worship with the Lord should always be first, and then we give out of the abundance that God has given us. That analogy changed my life. Have a great day! Sherry Devine Tonight I was surrounded by people that were burning! It is so important who you are surrounding yourself with. Distance yourselves from all liars. If they speak a lie then they will believe a lie. Reside with those who only speak truth. It's breakout time and the fire of God will be doing one of two things: 1) Purifying & Empowering 2) Striking Down & Destroying The shift isn't over yet, but if you don't get in alignment with the Lord God, you will miss it entirely and be left behind. God is moving swiftly and you must move with Him! Let's move forward. 1. Stay on the path! No side-steppin allowed. You are headed in only 1 direction. 2. Be steady! That means no stopping and wavering. Set your mind to go forward and keep going. 3. Pour into your brothers and sisters! Don't think someone is using you. We need to help each other. What God gives you is for sharing and sometimes because we are all at different levels of our walk what your sibling does might hurt you, but if they love Christ you keep on pouring. It helps them to mature when we don't turn away at their faults. Remember the mistakes you made at first? Let's look beyond the mistakes of others and see what God is trying to create in them. It is YOUR actions that Jesus is concerned about. If you retaliate with anger, then the battle is lost AND a life could be lost. As we move forward we want to propel others forward. I can't succeed without you succeeding. One body! Ephesians 4 The Message (MSG) "1-3 In light of all this, here’s what I want you to do. While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences." Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies Fear Not Ministries) I want to show you something today. Last Sunday my Pastor's message was on the same scriptures that God had given to me Friday. I love it when that happens because it is just confirmation that a person is hearing the truth. Same message different wording. He spoke on Saul and this was the revelation God gave him: Only God can take your enemy and turn him into your brother. Acts 9:21-22 "Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?” But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ." This is why we cannot judge others. We don't know what God is doing or is planning to do with this precious life. We can't understand what kind of preparation someone is going through to get to his destination. So as we are being prepared, be mindful of how others are also being prepared. No one shares the exact same journey. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 says, "Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation," I know I've been changed and every person will have that same opportunity eventually. This is the desire of the Father and no man should stand in His way. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies Fear Not Ministries Have you ever wondered why God had to go to such extremes to get Saul’s attention? Most people bow down just from the sound of Jesus’ voice, but He blinded Saul. Acts 9:3-4 says, “As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”” (New King James) Talk about being blinded by the light! This is how I see it, Saul was so enamored with this world and the things of the world, money and everything else that tends to excite man, that God had to first take his view of the world away. Saul had a purpose that He didn’t even know he had. Before he was born God had chosen him to lead His people. But he didn’t know this. He wasn’t raised up to believe in the now of Christ. In fact, he believed that Jesus was against everything that he was raised to believe in. He thought He was an imposter to the Word. Saul believed that his purpose in life was to persecute those who believed and he was proud to do it. But that wasn’t his purpose. He had a higher purpose in life and he was chosen to have knowledge of his purpose in a harsh way. You see desire begins in the eyes before it sinks into the heart. And Saul had many desires and at the top of his list was power. Wow! He had no idea of what power really was, but he was about to learn. So Jesus blinded him with a bright light and accused him of sinning against Him. That would have been enough for me to turn around, but apparently it was not enough for Saul. Yet God knew just what he needed to get to the place He wanted him to be in. Direction. Jesus gave Saul specific directions. He told him to go into the city. Yes, God had a plan that would usher Saul into his destiny. Do you know that God also has a plan for you? A plan to get you to your purpose and maybe you don’t see it yet, but know that God does have a plan and a purpose for you. I look back on the days when everyone thought that I had it all, money, nice car and beautiful clothes. But there was no happiness in those things. There was only emptiness that made me think that I needed more. I’m sure Saul had been feeling this same emptiness. But no more! This is why God has to sometimes wait to tell us our purpose, we aren’t ready for it. Purpose is life changing and until you are truly ready to change your life without any regrets you won’t know your purpose. It took time for me to want to change and when I finally did I opened my mouth and declare that my life belonged to God to do whatever He wanted to do with it. Then came the preparation. I still did not know my purpose, but I became oh so thirsty for the Lord and everything about Him. I wanted to know Him intimately. So I began to study the Word and God began to speak to me. And my belly would become full and Season arrived. Once you know your purpose it cannot be denied. For everything there is a Season and until your Season comes eat of the Word of God until your belly becomes full. Keep your focus on God and not the world because until your eyes are fully upon God, it won’t be your time. Everyone needs purpose and everything that you are doing now is to move you closer to yours. You are in a place of preparation even now. Be blessed! Be careful of how you label your blessings. God is so much higher than the mind of man. What do most people think of when they hear the words, “God is about to bless you”? At least eighty five percent of you instantly thought of money, but God is so much more than that. Anyone can bless you with money but when God blesses you it will not be in a way that you can measure. How do you measure all your needs being met? How do you measure God healing you or someone close to you? Keeping your focus on money and trying to attach God to it is not the answer that I am seeking. I want the blessing that contains substance. I want God’s spiritual blessing. I can survive without money but I cannot live without Holy Spirit being active in my life. God has shown me such miraculous things that when I shared them with others, they just could not imagine it. And He did these things just for me! He blessed me! I want you to exercise taking the labels off of your blessings. Allow God to decide what you need. If you really want to know what being blessed feels like, stop choosing what you thank you need and allow God to make the choice for you. Then you will be opening the door for some real supernatural blessings. Dear heavenly Father, I ask that you bless your people with supernatural blessings. Lord your Word says you will pour out a blessing that we will not be able to contain. We are ready God. We are ready for you to pour out. We stand here with open arms awaiting you. And Lord we are expecting blessings that we cannot measure in the natural. Only the supernatural will do for Your people. We thank You God and we wait on You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Be blessed! C. D. I've always been a Star Trek fan and there is an episode that always stuck with me. The episode where they meet the Borg. Now the Borg only had one statement that they would repeat with consistency. "Resistance is futile." They were adamant that they could not be defeated and did not think there was any reason to discuss it.
Does not the Lord say many times, "Fear Not"? Yet the minute something goes wrong we become afraid. Even when the Borg took a hit, they kept going and going after the enemy and kept on declaring that , "Resistance is futile." Sometimes we just need to tell the Devil, "Resistance is futile." Sometimes we won't even have to fight if we would just tell him, "Resistance is futile" before the fight even begins. If we embrace God's strength we have no weakness and the outcome is always victorious. So stop running. Turn around right now and tell the Devil, "Resistance is futile." Be blessed! C. D. The Destination Is. 43:1, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” As we do belong to the Father, we have inherited His greatness. But the enemy doesn’t want you to believe that so he will try his best to belittle you and make you feel like nothing. He wants to keep you from your destination. Don’t you believe his lies for 1 second and this isn’t even up for debate. Yes, God allows him to test you from time to time, but that’s only because you have a destination that you must reach. This destination is like nowhere you have ever been because it has been chosen by God just for you. The only way to reach it is through strenuous training and obtaining much knowledge and sometimes, experience is the only way to gain the knowledge you will need. Sometimes you seem to be caught in a cycle. The same thing keeps happening to you over and over again and you think God has left you. He hasn’t. You just haven’t gotten it right yet. Pay close attention to the season and next time, you’ll be ready, and you’ll win. You sometimes want to say, “But Father, I’m so tired.” But push. Push. You can’t stop mid-labor. To do so is to die and to allow what you are carrying inside of you to die to. PUSH! Do you hear me! I'm screaming it at the top of my lungs! PUSH! God has called you by name and already declared your future, so whatever it takes… you have got to get there! And we are standing on the sideline cheering you on the whole way. And if you need a shoulder for just a sec, take mines. But get back in there and fight until you get to your special place that God has set up just for you. And one more thing, You will know when you have reached it! Be blessed. C. D. Tonight I am thanking God for a changed mind and a changed heart. Because of all the things that happened to me when I was a young adult, I use to declare that no one would ever take anything away from anymore. Now I give all I got freely. Anything I have, if you need it, it's yours. You see I gave up possession for freedom. That surrender freed me from the emotional strategy of the enemy. I now lift the other cheek and I do it freely with no grudges or hatred. It was a hard lesson to learn, but when you truly love God, then you want to love others just as hard. You're not selfish, but instead you are giving. Giving of everything that you formerly claimed possession of because I realized that I did not possess those things but they instead possessed me. Without God, I would have never seen this reality. Possession will lead you into BONDAGE. So if you really want to be free, my big Brother told us exactly how to do it. Mark 8:34 tells us that, "Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me]." I've given everything I own to the Lord and it keeps me from claiming possession of anything. God has more than I will ever need so I never worry about a lack. All my needs are met. I pray you will take a walk with my Brother and I, boost your faith, kill your doubt, have a change heart, and diminish your fleshly desires by releasing everything that you have claimed as yours to God for His use not only in words, but in deed. That is the true test. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies I'm going to be very open and share something today that I have not shared with many. Not even my family knows the full extent of what has been going on in my life. So today is MY day of testimony! 4 years ago I received a diagnose of bone degeneration and severe arthritis. I was raised playing sports and played them until I was in my late 40's. That's when I started having problems. After seeking medical advice and a MRI, I received a phone call later that night telling me that I needed to go to the emergency room immediately. I was concerned, but not worried because I knew about the power of my God. When I got there all these doctors kept coming into the room and asking me to do strength tests. One group would leave and then another would come asking me to do the same things. This went on for a couple of hours before I had finally had enough and asked them what was going on. Well it turned out that from looking at my MRI, what they saw said I was supposed to be paralyzed. What they were witnessing was strength and I remember all the doctors commenting on how strong I was. I was not paralyzed, in fact, I was walking, grabbing, lifting and doing pretty much whatever I needed or wanted to do. Spent a night of observation which was pretty much the same routine all night, since I guess I was a walking miracle to them. Prior to this I was running a food program, serving my community and playing tennis, just all around active. Did I have pain? Yes! But I refused to look at my pain and kept my vision on the horizon to the place where I was healed. So here I am 2 surgeries and 5 years later and I have to be honest, it hasn't been easy. I have many days of pain. Days when I shouldn't even want to wake up because I know what it will entail. But I wake up sometimes with a shout of praise! I look forward to the morning because I know that one day I will wake up free from all pain. And so I press on giving glory to God throughout the whole day. Do you know why? After the 1st surgery I was unable to walk for 5 days. Then I was able to walk with a walker and with a lot of pain. 2 months after the 2nd surgery I was no better and my doctor had the nerve to tell me that I would never get any better. That this was now my life. What he didn't know was that I had heard my God say that He was going to heal me. And so I felt no fear when I told him that I didn't believe or receive what he was saying. Today I am walker-free. I can even run on a good day. An although some days are still painful, I arise with a smile on my face ready to do the will of my Father. Anyone that meets me would never see the trial that I was going through because that is not what life is all about. All through our lives there will be trials, but life is really about the push. Are you going to give up or are you going to push to get to that next level? I may not be healed yet, but guess what? I can really see it! Yes I really can! And I am living in it every time I head out my door. Because I can see my healing, others cannot see my infirmities. Because I see it, they have to see too! I can say yes, I understand walking by faith and not by sight, because faith has the power to not only change your sight but to change the sight of everyone around you and everyone that you come into contact with. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (NKJ) And this is what I say and this my testimony. I have become the evidence! Witness today what God, the Father, the Omnipotent, the Beginning and the End, can do through faith! Hallelujah! God is good!!!!! Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies For Christian, today should be a day of battle for you. Every Christian should be interceding for the world today. This is one of the most deceptive and evil days of the year. It has infiltrated the church and been received with gladness. My greatest prayer is for scales to be removed from the eyes of the people. For them to see that wickedness and evil are real and witches, goblins, demons and ghosts are real and nothing to be played around with. I pray that they will stop embracing fear as though it is a game. I pray that our people will stop embracing the ways of this world but will begin to set themselves apart as the Bible instructs us. And I pray that the people will have a desire to please the Lord over their own fleshly desires. I pray that you will begin to walk upright despite what man says about you but that you will stand up for the truth with boldness. I pray that the prayer warriors will not come down from their towers this day but will continue to pray for the deliverance of all mankind from the deceptions the enemy. And more than ever, I pray that the Spirit of the living God surrounds you and protects as you stand in the gap for so many today. Halloween is not for the people of God. We will be posting truths about Halloween throughout the day because everyone needs to know the truth. You need to see it, believe it and walk it because we have to be truthful with you, Ignorance will not keep you from going to hell. God accepts innocence not ignorance so in all your understanding, get some wisdom. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies COSTUMES: The Celts wore frightening masks so that evil spirits would mistakenly think the wearers were spirits and would leave them alone. The church gradually amalgamated pagan customs with the feasts of All Souls and All Saints. Later, celebrants went from house to house wearing costumes of saints, angels, and devils. (Exodus 34:12, “Be very, very careful never to compromise with the people there in the land where you are going, for if you do, you will soon be following their evil ways.) NLT Revelation 12:7-12 "War broke out in Heaven. Michael and his Angels fought the Dragon. The Dragon and his Angels fought back, but were no match for Michael. They were cleared out of Heaven, not a sign of them left. The great Dragon—ancient Serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, the one who led the whole earth astray—thrown out, and all his Angels thrown out with him, thrown down to earth. Then I heard a strong voice out of Heaven saying, Salvation and power are established! Kingdom of our God, authority of his Messiah! The Accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out, who accused them day and night before God. They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. They weren't in love with themselves; they were willing to die for Christ. So rejoice, O Heavens, and all who live there, but doom to earth and sea, For the Devil’s come down on you with both feet; he’s had a great fall; He’s wild and raging with anger; he hasn't much time and he knows it." (The Message) Don't you see that if you aren't doing anything good in your walk with Christ, Satan won't bother you. He's not trying to defeat you just because you are human. He wants to destroy you because you belong to God. Because he doesn't want you to be successful in Christ. When we are moving in the direction that God has set for us it is then that the opposition begins. Yes sometimes the battles are hard but the victories are worth a whole lot more when you have to fight hard to get it. Now here's the thing. Did you learn something from this battle? Did you acknowledge your mistakes so that you won't repeat them? Did you accept your blame and repent? If you haven't don't any of those things, then beware of the false victory. Especially if you blame others for your trials, because then you are still in the midst of the battle! Evaluate the victory, repent and change! Then you will truly be victorious over the enemy! It is only then that you will own it. Be blessed! C.D. Today the word is "endurance". Endurance is a word that speaks of strength. Endurance means that you withstood through it all. We may have cuts and bruises and we may even be bloody from our head to our feet, but we are still here! We have endured! So don't give up now! The promise is in the horizon but you have to open your spiritual eyes and see it. Remember, it's not meant to be easy. If it was easy it would not have purpose. Every battle you are fighting has purpose and every battle that we fight strengthens us for that purpose. Don't give up! No battle is greater than the one you fight in the spirit realm. That is where you will find your victory. Not looking at the things going on around you. Not fighting the people that are around you. You must go up! That is where God and a hosts of His angels are waiting to intercede on your behalf. But you MUST go UP! Today I pray that you find the strength to go up and defeat all your enemies. I pray that you don't give up. I pray that you not only endure, but that you will begin to actively engage the enemy spiritually. I pray that a host of angels shall battle beside you. and I pray that all your enemies will be crushed for all time. In the mighty name of Jesus, our Strong Tower! Amen! Hebrews 10:32-36, "Remember those early days after you first saw the light? Those were the hard times! Kicked around in public, targets of every kind of abuse—some days it was you, other days your friends. If some friends went to prison, you stuck by them. If some enemies broke in and seized your goods, you let them go with a smile, knowing they couldn’t touch your real treasure. Nothing they did bothered you, nothing set you back. So don’t throw it all away now. You were sure of yourselves then. It’s still a sure thing! But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion."
