Do you fight with feelings of being inadequate? The enemy within me. This is a fight within and the hardest battle to defeat. Am I living up to my full potential? Am I being obedient to God? I messed up once again. God said that he forgives me, but so He really? These are questions that we all ask ourselves at one time or another. I want you to know that this isn't you. This is words whispered at your mind. Thoughts that entered through the suggestions of the enemy because he knows that if he can make you fill guilty, he has a chance of persuading you to take that step out of alignment with God. If you beat yourself up it opens the door for him to beat you down even more. Just stop it. That's right. Stop them thoughts the minute they begin. Begin to take on the thoughts of God. Does He not say in His Word: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11) God's thoughts for us never change. He knows us better than we know ourselves so let's begin to see ourselves as God sees us. We have to stop listening to the report that does not belong to God. When those thoughts enter your mind begin to cast them out immediately. And if you begin to feel you are losing the battle in your mind, then you better go up. Use your spirit language because our spirit knows how battle even better than you. Be blessed! Years back the Lord showed me a place that I would be entering into in the future. Now when He showed me this place I can remember my heart gripping in fear and a desire to run from it so terrifying the vision was. I've recently seen this vision again and the fear was gone. That's how our Father works. He prepares you for what is to come and once you are prepared, all fear will leave. I want to encourage you today if you are still bound in fear. Know that God is preparing you for your future. a future that contains no fear, but He has to show you it now so that He can deal with it now as part of your preparation. Hold on to your faith because I promise you, it is the one major thing that is going to see you through to the other side of that fear. Pay attention to what the Father is saying in these days. He is speaking words of strength to your spirit. Continue to meditate on His Scriptures telling you to 'fear not' and to be not afraid'. He wrote those words for you for this time. They are alive and will strengthen your spirit even as you are reading and speaking them. Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." God has only done a small percentage of what He is planning to do in you in this season of preparation. Be encourage and as always be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies This is so important! It is one of your keys toward walking into your purpose. If they are not going where you are going they will become a distraction and can possible send you towards detours. I love to be with people that look like me, and by me I mean they also are a reflection of Jesus. What kind of reflection do you see in your friends? Evangelist Cheryl Davies Fear Not Ministries When you are struggling it doesn't necessarily mean that sin is standing on the sideline waiting to devour you. The majority of the time our struggles are the hand of God trying to teach us something or take us to new territory that has not been conquered yet. I depend on the struggle because I refuse to stay the same. Stagnated. Rutted. God can't use that! Nothing can stop my flow! Allow God to take you to and through the struggles. And when they seem too hard, keep telling yourself, "I'm going somewhere and I'm not going to be the same when I come out of this struggle. I'm going up." This is why I rejoice when it's a struggle. I'm telling God that I know He can handle anything that I can't and I'm willing to submit myself to Him to teach me how to handle it myself. Hebrews 5:14, "But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." That's called "Meat Eating Maturity." No more milk for me! I've learned how to chew. Now, what about you? Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies Bondage has only two purposes and that is to make you sin and to keep you out of heaven. It's time to stamp an expiration date on your bondage. Set your date and work to be free when that day is reached. Tell the Devil, "Your time is short because my freedom is at hand. You better vacate the premises by ___________ or face your destruction." Hebrews 2:14-15, "Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." (NKJV) Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) A few years back I was fighting several personal battles. It seemed like I was being bombarded by the enemy. But battle I did. As in the natural, when we battle for too long we become battle weary. I was tired of battling but it got to the point where I did not know how to come off the battlefield. It began to become a burden to me. I felt drained all the time. Couldn't sleep because I was waging war in my sleep. I was not just fighting personal battles, I was battling for others as well and I had not learned how to come off of the battlefield. Up until this point I had only fought 1 or 2 battles at a time. But in order to become what God has called you to be takes training and training goes from the easy to the extreme. This still did not tell me how to come out of the battle or that I needed to come off the battlefield. Our Father, God always knows what we need and so He sent me to someone that could help me. Her name was Pastor Rita Miles and the first thing out of her mouth when she spoke to me was, "Battlefield too long." There was other key words that she spoke to me but when God speaks to me I have to get to a place where it's just me and Him. So I went and found a quiet place and began to speak to the Lord. I told Him that I knew I had been in battle too long and that I had become battle weary. I didn't know how to come out of the battle, and that only He could help me come out. God softly spoke one word to me and my life was changed. What was that word? "Release." And with that word spoken, all tension left, all fatigue left, and I was free from the battles just like that. Now here's the thing. I was so caught up in the battle that my face was covered in spiritual sweat and blood and I could no longer see. I could no longer see that the enemy had been defeated. I could no longer see that the battlefield was empty and only I stood, swinging away at invisible foes. You must see when you have won the victory and stop battling. There is always a time when we must come off the battlefield. Do not let the enemy deceive you into thinking that you still have to fight after the battle has already been won. Sometimes also the enemy must see that he has been defeated. If you are still swinging and he's beaten, even he won't know that the fight is over and it's time for him to give up. As intercessors we have to learn how to sometimes come off of the battleground. As Christians we have to know when to stop fighting. When you have won, the battle is over and sometimes it just takes you walking it off to cool down before you can see that all your foes have been vanquished and that you can now begin to walk in the victory. This does not mean that there will not be other battles, but you must always know when the battle you have been fighting is won and come off of the battlefield. To God be the GLORY! Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) So we have been through a season of battles. Faint not though because there was purpose in the battle. God sometimes have to tear things down before they can be rebuilt in manner He decreed. The reason for this is that we take on so much of the world that it becomes hard to tell the difference between what is godly and what is worldly. Even though we can’t see the difference sometimes, God always sees. He knows when we make a wrong turn and so in order to get us back on track he has to break some things down and then rebuild them the way He intended them to be. This takes going through a battle because our flesh does not want to let go. Our flesh hates change. Be honest with yourself. If you have a particular way of doing things, and you have always done things that way, you know you don’t want no one coming in and tell you a different way to do it. Now God is telling you, that way was wrong. That’s right. It was all wrong. Now do you think your flesh is going to take that without rebelling? No. 1 Corinthians 15:31, "[I assure you] by the pride which I have in you in [your fellowship and union with] Christ Jesus our Lord, that I die daily [I face death every day and die to self]" (AMP) It is a battle to die to the flesh. Paul says we are to die to the flesh daily. If it’s easy for you then you have not defeated a thing. Just as quickly as you agreed to God’s way of doing things you will go back to what you are use to. And then some ways down the road you will realize that you are back where you started. Wasting time. I don’t want to waste any time going through the same thing over and over again. I need the battle so that I can remember what it took for me to get to this place. Look at history. Even though we ourselves have not fought the past battles how many battles can you name off the top of your head that the World has fought? World War 1, World War 2, Civil War, Korean War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War. It’s not easy to forget a war that’s been fought. And when you are the one fighting the war, you know you will remember every mistake you make, because you won’t want to make that mistake again. But you don’t only remember the mistakes – you remember even more the victories and what you did to become triumphant!! That’s why it’s so important to know what season you are in. Are you in a Season of Battle or are you in a Season of Birthing. Because we know that after the flesh has been defeated God births something new in the spirit because now you have made room for what He has. So the battle has been won and now it’s time to get into the birthing position. 1King 18:41-44, “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, 43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not." (KJV) Verse 42 says that Elijah cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees. He got in his birthing position. He was ready to birth some rain upon the earth. What is your birthing position? You’re birthing position may not be the same as mine. My birthing position is prostrate before the Lord. I know some whose position is kneeling and others bent over, and even others who stand or walk during the birthing process. Know your position. This is the birthing season, but what position are you in? Are you prepared to give birth? The baby will struggle to be born if you are not in the proper position to help it make the transition into this world. This world needs what you are carrying so you have got to get into your birthing position. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies Fear Not Ministries The pictures you see of the devil are fictional. It is a lie generated to keep you from knowing where your battle really lies. The Bibles says in Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Many have read this scripture but when someone does evil against you, you immediately begin to go against the person. This is not how you handle it. I once moved into an apartment without seeing what was going on in the neighborhood before moving in. There turned out to be a lot of gang activity across the street from me. One day while a family member was visiting they threw a weight through the back window of her car and broke it. I called the police who told me about the things that had happening for years on my street. I knew they would try and retaliate against me for calling the police so I immediately went into warfare. I told God that since He did not tell me to move, then they had to go! That night they came to my house and threw batteries at my windows. I had very thin windows but not one of them broke. I went outside declaring the power of the Lord and they ran. Two days later I saw moving boxes outside of there house. They had to leave. These people had been there for years terrorizing the neighborhood. Every battle they had fought was in the flesh and they were winning until God came on the scene. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." I took the battle to a higher ground and was victorious. I may have been the one doing the speaking but God and His angels took over that battle and won. Stop fighting fleshly battles! If you want to be a winner, then you will have to go up!!!! Our battles are not fought on the earth. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (Fear Not Ministries) Will you be found innocent? Daniel lived a righteous life despite the fact that he was a slave. Everything around him was wrong in the sight of the Lord, but he stayed submitted to God. Today, everything around you is wrong in the sight of our God but like David, we must strive to stay innocent before God so that when we are in the lion's den, we too will have nothing to fear. In the Old Testament bondage was more of a physical thing. You do evil against God then He would let your enemies capture you, imprison you, your family, and generations to come in your bloodline and this caused man to have a fear of the Lord. But there is a bondage that is far worse that physical imprisonment. Spiritual Bondage is more harmful than physical bondage because you sometimes cannot always see it and know that you are in bondage. We can see the results but not know, what, why or who is messing with our head. Did you ever wonder why God tells Isaiah to not have fear so many times? God was trying to strengthen Isaiah. The opposite of fear is boldness, strength. God was telling him that He would give Isaiah these things. He told him to not worry, He would strengthen him. Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Fear can cause a person to sin: Exodus 20:20, "And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”" Fear can create stumbling blocks. Fear can cause you to lie. We always hear people saying that Rahab lied to justify their telling a lie, but God never condoned her lie. He never did tell her good job lying. Lying actually removed God from that situation because she trusted in herself more than God. Remember now, Rahab did not know God. She only knew fear because she had been paying attention to how the children of God have been defeating everyone. Joshua 2:4-6, "Then the woman took the two men and hid them. So she said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from. 5 And it happened as the gate was being shut, when it was dark, that the men went out. Where the men went I do not know; pursue them quickly, for you may overtake them.” 6 (But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order on the roof.)" God rewarded her by the words spoken to her by the 2 children of Israel. Not by her lie. Fear will turn you into a liar. Fear can cause you to run away. When David entered into battle with any nation, the nation would flee from the power of God that David and his men moved under. 1 Chronicles 19:14, "So Joab and the people who were with him drew near for the battle against the Syrians, and they fled before him." To run away means that you are afraid and it also means that you have already been beaten. Fear will keep you out of the battle. We all know the story of David and Goliath. This story is even circulated around non Christians as a story of strength. 1 Samuel 17:4-11, "And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. He had a bronze helmet on his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of bronze. And he had bronze armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his shoulders. Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels; and a shield-bearer went before him. Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.” And the Philistine said, “I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.” When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid." Fear will keep you from engaging the enemy. But God says we have nothing to fear. So today I pray Deuteronomy 28:7 for you. “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. I plead Joshua 10:8, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.” Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies You know how we are always saying that Jesus resides inside of us and that gives us power? Well that power is being executed right now. As you read this post God is speaking to you personally. Not me, but Jesus. I don’t know what you need at this moment and unless you tell me I probably never will. Only one person can feel that need without you saying one word to Him or anyone else. That’s God. I’m just a person, no greater or better than you, that allows God to use me by giving Him access to my will. I have given Him totally access and that is how these words have found their way to you at the just the right time. This is why these words become a blessing to you. “Nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:42 These were the words of submission to the Father that Jesus spoke even while He was hanging on the cross for our sins. These are the words that I speak daily to the Father. “Nevertheless not my will, but Yours, be done.” It is in my allowing God to have His way in my life that He chooses to use me for you. Today God is asking you a question. “How will you allow me to use you?” Once you have the right answer to this question, God will begin to show you your purpose. Why? Purpose is so life changing that you must be prepared to make the transition. Changing everything about you, (your thoughts, heart, actions and how you speak) takes your total submission to God and God alone. You learn that it’s no longer about you. It becomes only about how God can use you for His glory. A puffed up person becomes that way because he has no knowledge of his purpose. In purpose the words “I” and God become complete opposites. If you are still concerned about “I” then there is no room for God. God is complete and needs the total you in order to complete you and transition you into purpose. I am trying to help you here. God wants you to get to a place where He can reveal much more than your purpose to you. However, there are some things that must go first. These words will keep you from your promotion into your purpose: worry, hate, jealousy, fear, lust, anger, hurt, pride, gluttony, revenge and envy. To reach your purpose you have to cultivate these words into your life: love, hope, humility, forgiveness, trust, peace, and faith. Do you really know yourself? Take a good look right now. If you don’t look now your purpose might slip right on pass you. You have to make a change. James 4:7 “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” What do you look like? Do you look like the things of this world or Christ? It really makes a big difference. I am talking about your spirit here. What does your spirit resemble? Do God need to cut some things out of you. Submit yourself to God and He will do it. Preparation leads to purpose. Be blessed! C. D. I've always been a Star Trek fan and there is an episode that always stuck with me. The episode where they meet the Borg. Now the Borg only had one statement that they would repeat with consistency. "Resistance is futile." They were adamant that they could not be defeated and did not think there was any reason to discuss it.
Does not the Lord say many times, "Fear Not"? Yet the minute something goes wrong we become afraid. Even when the Borg took a hit, they kept going and going after the enemy and kept on declaring that , "Resistance is futile." Sometimes we just need to tell the Devil, "Resistance is futile." Sometimes we won't even have to fight if we would just tell him, "Resistance is futile" before the fight even begins. If we embrace God's strength we have no weakness and the outcome is always victorious. So stop running. Turn around right now and tell the Devil, "Resistance is futile." Be blessed! C. D. Today's word is Sensuality. One of the KJV dictionary definition for the word sensuality is: In theology, carnal; pertaining to the flesh or body, in opposition to the spirit; not spiritual or holy; evil When we exalt our own selves we are moving in a spirit of sensuality. This can happen from 2 different causes. 1. Low self-esteem - can make you want to hide or it can make you want to grab attention. 2. A sense of self-worth - wanting to lift yourself above others. Whichever the reason is, it is wrong in the eyes of the Lord. But this is not to condemn. It is never our place to condemn. Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Usually this has happened from the person trying to cover up hurts of the past. The have agreed with the lies of the enemy and this is the manifestation of their reaction to those lies. So how can we help our Christian brothers and sisters that have fallen into this sin? Sometimes the only method of deliverance that work is PRAYER. We must pray for those that are consumed by fire. It may be their only hope. Jude 1:22-23 Amplified Bible 22 And refute [so as to] convict some who dispute with you, and on some have mercy who waver and doubt. 23 [Strive to] save others, snatching [them] out of [the] fire; on others take pity [but] with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality. So if you have a brother or sister in Christ that is consumed in this sin, it's time to take your mouth off of them and begin to pray for them earnestly. Pray for every lie the enemy has told them to be revealed to them. Pray that they seek the strength of God in their weakness. Pray that they are delivered from the spirit of pride. Pray for God to heal the hurt in their heart. Pray for their deliverance from sensuality. Pray that they feel the true love of God as it covers their pain. Pray against every foul word spoken against them (your words included). Pray that God grants them a heart to repent. Pray for their wholeness through Christ. And pray that God will grant you grace and a compassionate heart to love them regardless. Please do not take this call to prayer lightly. Their lives are depending on your obedience to this word. Be blessed. Evangelist Cheryl Davies The Destination Is. 43:1, “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” As we do belong to the Father, we have inherited His greatness. But the enemy doesn’t want you to believe that so he will try his best to belittle you and make you feel like nothing. He wants to keep you from your destination. Don’t you believe his lies for 1 second and this isn’t even up for debate. Yes, God allows him to test you from time to time, but that’s only because you have a destination that you must reach. This destination is like nowhere you have ever been because it has been chosen by God just for you. The only way to reach it is through strenuous training and obtaining much knowledge and sometimes, experience is the only way to gain the knowledge you will need. Sometimes you seem to be caught in a cycle. The same thing keeps happening to you over and over again and you think God has left you. He hasn’t. You just haven’t gotten it right yet. Pay close attention to the season and next time, you’ll be ready, and you’ll win. You sometimes want to say, “But Father, I’m so tired.” But push. Push. You can’t stop mid-labor. To do so is to die and to allow what you are carrying inside of you to die to. PUSH! Do you hear me! I'm screaming it at the top of my lungs! PUSH! God has called you by name and already declared your future, so whatever it takes… you have got to get there! And we are standing on the sideline cheering you on the whole way. And if you need a shoulder for just a sec, take mines. But get back in there and fight until you get to your special place that God has set up just for you. And one more thing, You will know when you have reached it! Be blessed. C. D. Tonight I am thanking God for a changed mind and a changed heart. Because of all the things that happened to me when I was a young adult, I use to declare that no one would ever take anything away from anymore. Now I give all I got freely. Anything I have, if you need it, it's yours. You see I gave up possession for freedom. That surrender freed me from the emotional strategy of the enemy. I now lift the other cheek and I do it freely with no grudges or hatred. It was a hard lesson to learn, but when you truly love God, then you want to love others just as hard. You're not selfish, but instead you are giving. Giving of everything that you formerly claimed possession of because I realized that I did not possess those things but they instead possessed me. Without God, I would have never seen this reality. Possession will lead you into BONDAGE. So if you really want to be free, my big Brother told us exactly how to do it. Mark 8:34 tells us that, "Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me]." I've given everything I own to the Lord and it keeps me from claiming possession of anything. God has more than I will ever need so I never worry about a lack. All my needs are met. I pray you will take a walk with my Brother and I, boost your faith, kill your doubt, have a change heart, and diminish your fleshly desires by releasing everything that you have claimed as yours to God for His use not only in words, but in deed. That is the true test. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies I'm going to be very open and share something today that I have not shared with many. Not even my family knows the full extent of what has been going on in my life. So today is MY day of testimony! 4 years ago I received a diagnose of bone degeneration and severe arthritis. I was raised playing sports and played them until I was in my late 40's. That's when I started having problems. After seeking medical advice and a MRI, I received a phone call later that night telling me that I needed to go to the emergency room immediately. I was concerned, but not worried because I knew about the power of my God. When I got there all these doctors kept coming into the room and asking me to do strength tests. One group would leave and then another would come asking me to do the same things. This went on for a couple of hours before I had finally had enough and asked them what was going on. Well it turned out that from looking at my MRI, what they saw said I was supposed to be paralyzed. What they were witnessing was strength and I remember all the doctors commenting on how strong I was. I was not paralyzed, in fact, I was walking, grabbing, lifting and doing pretty much whatever I needed or wanted to do. Spent a night of observation which was pretty much the same routine all night, since I guess I was a walking miracle to them. Prior to this I was running a food program, serving my community and playing tennis, just all around active. Did I have pain? Yes! But I refused to look at my pain and kept my vision on the horizon to the place where I was healed. So here I am 2 surgeries and 5 years later and I have to be honest, it hasn't been easy. I have many days of pain. Days when I shouldn't even want to wake up because I know what it will entail. But I wake up sometimes with a shout of praise! I look forward to the morning because I know that one day I will wake up free from all pain. And so I press on giving glory to God throughout the whole day. Do you know why? After the 1st surgery I was unable to walk for 5 days. Then I was able to walk with a walker and with a lot of pain. 2 months after the 2nd surgery I was no better and my doctor had the nerve to tell me that I would never get any better. That this was now my life. What he didn't know was that I had heard my God say that He was going to heal me. And so I felt no fear when I told him that I didn't believe or receive what he was saying. Today I am walker-free. I can even run on a good day. An although some days are still painful, I arise with a smile on my face ready to do the will of my Father. Anyone that meets me would never see the trial that I was going through because that is not what life is all about. All through our lives there will be trials, but life is really about the push. Are you going to give up or are you going to push to get to that next level? I may not be healed yet, but guess what? I can really see it! Yes I really can! And I am living in it every time I head out my door. Because I can see my healing, others cannot see my infirmities. Because I see it, they have to see too! I can say yes, I understand walking by faith and not by sight, because faith has the power to not only change your sight but to change the sight of everyone around you and everyone that you come into contact with. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (NKJ) And this is what I say and this my testimony. I have become the evidence! Witness today what God, the Father, the Omnipotent, the Beginning and the End, can do through faith! Hallelujah! God is good!!!!! Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies For Christian, today should be a day of battle for you. Every Christian should be interceding for the world today. This is one of the most deceptive and evil days of the year. It has infiltrated the church and been received with gladness. My greatest prayer is for scales to be removed from the eyes of the people. For them to see that wickedness and evil are real and witches, goblins, demons and ghosts are real and nothing to be played around with. I pray that they will stop embracing fear as though it is a game. I pray that our people will stop embracing the ways of this world but will begin to set themselves apart as the Bible instructs us. And I pray that the people will have a desire to please the Lord over their own fleshly desires. I pray that you will begin to walk upright despite what man says about you but that you will stand up for the truth with boldness. I pray that the prayer warriors will not come down from their towers this day but will continue to pray for the deliverance of all mankind from the deceptions the enemy. And more than ever, I pray that the Spirit of the living God surrounds you and protects as you stand in the gap for so many today. Halloween is not for the people of God. We will be posting truths about Halloween throughout the day because everyone needs to know the truth. You need to see it, believe it and walk it because we have to be truthful with you, Ignorance will not keep you from going to hell. God accepts innocence not ignorance so in all your understanding, get some wisdom. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies COSTUMES: The Celts wore frightening masks so that evil spirits would mistakenly think the wearers were spirits and would leave them alone. The church gradually amalgamated pagan customs with the feasts of All Souls and All Saints. Later, celebrants went from house to house wearing costumes of saints, angels, and devils. (Exodus 34:12, “Be very, very careful never to compromise with the people there in the land where you are going, for if you do, you will soon be following their evil ways.) NLT Revelation 12:7-12 "War broke out in Heaven. Michael and his Angels fought the Dragon. The Dragon and his Angels fought back, but were no match for Michael. They were cleared out of Heaven, not a sign of them left. The great Dragon—ancient Serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, the one who led the whole earth astray—thrown out, and all his Angels thrown out with him, thrown down to earth. Then I heard a strong voice out of Heaven saying, Salvation and power are established! Kingdom of our God, authority of his Messiah! The Accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out, who accused them day and night before God. They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. They weren't in love with themselves; they were willing to die for Christ. So rejoice, O Heavens, and all who live there, but doom to earth and sea, For the Devil’s come down on you with both feet; he’s had a great fall; He’s wild and raging with anger; he hasn't much time and he knows it." (The Message) Don't you see that if you aren't doing anything good in your walk with Christ, Satan won't bother you. He's not trying to defeat you just because you are human. He wants to destroy you because you belong to God. Because he doesn't want you to be successful in Christ. When we are moving in the direction that God has set for us it is then that the opposition begins. Yes sometimes the battles are hard but the victories are worth a whole lot more when you have to fight hard to get it. Now here's the thing. Did you learn something from this battle? Did you acknowledge your mistakes so that you won't repeat them? Did you accept your blame and repent? If you haven't don't any of those things, then beware of the false victory. Especially if you blame others for your trials, because then you are still in the midst of the battle! Evaluate the victory, repent and change! Then you will truly be victorious over the enemy! It is only then that you will own it. Be blessed! C.D. Today the word is "endurance". Endurance is a word that speaks of strength. Endurance means that you withstood through it all. We may have cuts and bruises and we may even be bloody from our head to our feet, but we are still here! We have endured! So don't give up now! The promise is in the horizon but you have to open your spiritual eyes and see it. Remember, it's not meant to be easy. If it was easy it would not have purpose. Every battle you are fighting has purpose and every battle that we fight strengthens us for that purpose. Don't give up! No battle is greater than the one you fight in the spirit realm. That is where you will find your victory. Not looking at the things going on around you. Not fighting the people that are around you. You must go up! That is where God and a hosts of His angels are waiting to intercede on your behalf. But you MUST go UP! Today I pray that you find the strength to go up and defeat all your enemies. I pray that you don't give up. I pray that you not only endure, but that you will begin to actively engage the enemy spiritually. I pray that a host of angels shall battle beside you. and I pray that all your enemies will be crushed for all time. In the mighty name of Jesus, our Strong Tower! Amen! Hebrews 10:32-36, "Remember those early days after you first saw the light? Those were the hard times! Kicked around in public, targets of every kind of abuse—some days it was you, other days your friends. If some friends went to prison, you stuck by them. If some enemies broke in and seized your goods, you let them go with a smile, knowing they couldn’t touch your real treasure. Nothing they did bothered you, nothing set you back. So don’t throw it all away now. You were sure of yourselves then. It’s still a sure thing! But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion."
