Matthew 6:22-23,
“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” It’s foolish to think that you can look at evil and not be touched. As followers of Christ we must be mindful of what we are viewing on the television. The enemy wants you to become entrapped by your amusement of the things not of God. As you are being entertained the tendrils of darkness are touching your soul and seeds are either being planted or watered and it doesn't matter how knowledgeable you are of the Word of God, how spiritually mature you are or your title. This is the cause of great Men and Women of God fall. “If the eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.” We must begin to control our eye. I don’t want the darkness to touch me in any way. Remember for God it’s all or nothing. Yet… “If the eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.” I want the light! I want the light! And I’m praying today that you will want only the light from this day forth. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies www.fearnotministries #caringissharing #Jesuslives #fearnotministries #iwantthelight

You know I love to go back to the beginning of the Bible. So much happened in the book of Genesis. In fact, this is where man’s battle with Satan really began. Today it was brought home to me something that most people never consider. We view Satan as the author of lies, but Satan is even more likely to trip you up with the truth. That’s what he did with Eve.
Genesis 3:5, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” Satan tripped Eve up with the truth. Her eyes did become open and he even spoke prophetically. Man now believe themselves to be gods and we do know good and evil. So Eve’s sin also allowed Satan the power to speak prophetically into our lives, but guess what? Jesus gave us the power to stop him. So we need to stop being imitators of Satan; prophesying evil into our lives. Prophesying gloom and doom with our mouths. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Power lies in the words that come from our mouths. When you speak negatively about something, that’s what you get. You have prophesied and not for your good. We do more damage to ourselves with our mouths than Satan could ever do to us, but we do love passing the blame off on him. Today, let’s make up our minds that we are only speaking life and good and fortifying words. Let nothing evil, let nothing bad flow from your mouth from this day forth. Let’s defeat Satan’s prophesy with prophesies of our own! Prophesies of faith, prophesies of love, prophesies of truth and prophesies of life! Be blessed! As a leader we must continue to grow. I want to go to a new level. More knowledge. More wisdom. More understanding. I want all that God has to give to me and your rank or title or lack of a title does not disqualify you from being able to inform me of things I have no knowledge of. The youngest person can be a treasure trove of knowledge if they place their ear in the right direction. The Bible says that God has used a donkey and a rooster to teach humility. We have to be able to receive before we can truly begin to pour into others. And the greatest Key is Humility. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (www.fearnotministries.com) This morning I met a really sweet young Asian man. As sweet as he was he was afflicted with many spirits. The Jesus in me wanted to minister to the man, but when I asked him if he wanted his mind to be clear he said it was clear even while mumbling incoherent words. I talked to him for a minute to see where he was and if I could get him to change his mind. He wasn't read so I told him that I loved him and left. Unfortunately, not everyone is ready to be free, but you know what? I saw this man free so I know that his time is close at hand, but Jesus cannot help him until he wants to be helped. He has to want his freedom. Matthew 20:31-33 says, "And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. 32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him. While it saddened me to have to walk away, seeing that he will be free brings me great joy." My word for you today is that we can't force a person to be free from demonic spirits. They have to want to be free. Giving him freedom now is useless because it will leave his house empty. He must be ready for Holy spirit to feel that empty place. If we force it we will end up doing more damage to the individual and he may never be able to see his way out. In Matthew 12:43-45 we learn about the consequences of inadequate deliverance. "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation." It is so important to know the will of God for the people we are ministering to. Flesh says, "Save him" but Holy Spirit says, "Wait." For everything there IS a Season and it just wasn't the young man's Season yet. Please join with me in prayer that this man's season comes upon him quickly. Be blessed!
