Psalm 5:3, " My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up." More than ever there is a call for direction in the body of Christ. So many have taking an unnoticed step off the path which will eventually lead them in the wrong direction. While so many others have been stuck in a place called RUT. You want more but you don't know how to obtain it. You are thirsty for more of God, but RUT is keeping you in a sort of locked down position. I can hear you thinking, "It's not suppose to be like this. What should I do?" I too have had similar thoughts at one time or another in my walk. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." We must not move in the direction of our own thoughts. This is a time to seek direction from God. There are so many paths open to you, but which path is actually yours? To chose the wrong path could mean death so it's crucial that you don't make a mistake during this important time in your life. So how do we know which direction is the right direction? We PRAY, we FAST and we ASK GOD for direction. He has sent you His Holy Spirit to give you the guidance that you need. Many will seek guidance from a Prophet, but know this, there are many different Prophets and not all are of God. Learn to seek God for yourself. Only God can give you the direction that you seek. A Prophet will proclaim the things to come but true direction comes from Holy Spirit. The Bible speaks of Prophets being sent from God but the Bible also never tells us to go find a Prophet and he will tell you what to do. Don't get me wrong now Prophets are very important to the kingdom but because of what Jesus did for us (His grand sacrifice) we all have total access to the Father. This is a time to get really personal with the Father. The closer you draw the more you will hear His directions. The more you hear, the less likely you'll go in the wrong direction. So begin to PRAY, to FAST and to ASK GOD to send His Holy Spirit to direct your steps. Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Be blessed!
