God can and will use anyone He chooses.
Have you ever had a person talk down to you because they felt that you were beneath them? I once had a woman of God tell me that the message I gave her did not come from God because IF God wanted to deliver her such a message He would have chosen someone over her to deliver it and that she could no longer trust me. I’m not sure to this day that she ever understood why there were tears in my eyes. I didn’t really care about her trusting me. I was more concerned in whether God trusted me. The message… “God said that you have not humbled yourself before Him.” I cried because I knew beforehand that she would not receive the message and I cried out to the Lord for 3 weeks to choose someone else. But I had to be obedient to the Lord. He wouldn’t release me -- just like He wouldn’t release Jonah. I cried because her answer proved God right and she still couldn't see that. I want you to know that you are greater than others can see and the fault doesn't lie in your vision of yourself. It is they that have the faulty vision. Luke 22:27 says, "For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves." Now how great was Jesus? And so many people wouldn't accept His greatness! But let me tell you about this God we serve. 2 Kings 6:24 says, “ And it happened after this that Ben-Hadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up and besieged Samaria. 25 And there was a great famine in Samaria; and indeed they besieged it until a donkey’s head was sold for eighty shekels of silver, and one-fourth of a kab of dove droppings for five shekels of silver. 26 Then, as the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried out to him, saying, “Help, my lord, O king!” 27 And he said, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I find help for you? From the threshing floor or from the wine press?” 28 Then the king said to her, “What is troubling you?” And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’ 29 So we boiled my son, and ate him. And I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him’; but she has hidden her son.” Will somebody please say, “Don’t Eat The Children!” Let me tell you about this God we serve! This is the God that in 2 Kings Chapters 6 &7 used 4 lepers to end a famine that was so bad that the people began EATING THEIR CHILDREN for food. Aw come on now, “Don’t Eat The Children!” Now God used these 4 lepers, which were considered to be unclean by the law making them even lower than a slave. But God used those lepers in a glorious way. He sent them to the Syrians to ask for admittance to their city that they may have food and live. When they got to the camp of Syria everyone was gone. Why? Because God sent the sound of chariots and many men attacking to the camp before the lepers reached it and the Syrians fled leaving behind all of the clothing, jewels and food. This is the same God that in Acts 9 used a donkey to stop Saul in his tracks from hunting down Christians. And who later turned this vengeful man who couldn’t stand Christians into a man of spirit and love. This is the God who in Matthew 26 used a rooster to reveal to Peter that he had a couple of spirits in him, both a lying one and the spirit of fear, which led to him becoming one of the most fearless men of God. This is the God that took a little runt of a shepherd boy and used him to not only defeat Goliath but in defeating Goliath, he defeated an army of giants. Hallelujah!!!! This is the same God that picked up the lowly and unwanted and made them into powerful men and women of God! The God that says when we are at our weakest He will be strong for us. The same God that can use you even when you are broken. So don’t give up yet! Hallelujah!!! Don’t eat the children!!!!! Because God has a plan for you!!!! A plan to give you a hope and a future!!! But you got to keep moving forward. Be blessed! Evangelist Cheryl Davies (www.fearnotministries.com) #SharingIsCaring #Don’tEatTheChildren #GodHasAPlan
